The Australian Workforce and Productivity Agency (AWPA) is an independent statutory body which provides advice to the Federal Minister for Employment, Skills, Training and Higher Education on Australia’s current, emerging and future skills and workforce development needs. AWPA provides advice on a broad range of areas that affect the demand, supply and use of skills. The agency also provides strategic advice and recommends priorities for the Australian Government’s National Workforce Development Fund.
