Policy Round Table IV:

There are many approaches and methodologies to estimating the occupations in high demand. This policy roundtable brought together key stakeholders from government, business and the research community to discuss the approaches and methodological considerations necessary to develop an annual report for occupations in high demand for South Africa. The policy roundtable served as a space for critical engagement. The participation of stakeholders across responsible government departments and agencies responsible for the development of a list can inform the development of a coordinated, comprehensive and credible framework for a report of occupations in high demand for the short, medium and long term.
