To give our work the broadest reach and make it accessible to a wide domestic and international audience, the LMIP now has a presence in the virtual sphere with a website to be found at http://lmip.org.za. The centrepiece of the LMIP’s communications, the website is a simple and user-friendly portal to access LMIP outputs, obtain information on events and activities and house information on research developments. The website is a novel platform for information sharing and storage. In addition to hosting LMIP research documents - from working papers, reports, technical reports, concept papers, presentations and more - the website will house ‘grey literature’ on skills development and labour markets that that not easily available in in the public domain. The LMIP will seek out these literatures from SETA’s, government departments and research agencies, and the aim is to provide previously under-utilised research.
